MOOSE JAW, SK – July 22, 2026 – JGL Commodities has entered into an agreement to acquire the Providence Grain Terminal located near Marengo, Saskatchewan, with the transaction expected to close in August 2026.
This acquisition marks an important milestone in the evolution of JGL Commodities’ business. The terminal will strengthen JGL Commodities’ presence in a productive grain-growing region of Saskatchewan while enhancing its ability to connect producers with domestic and international markets.

It allows us to expand our presence in an important production area, strengthen our relationships with producers, and provide additional marketing opportunities while continuing to deliver value throughout the supply chain.”
The acquisition will add grain handling and storage capacity to JGL Commodities’ network, supporting a reliable and efficient supply chain for producers and end-use customers.
